Start spreading the news… New York is becoming the new Silicon Valley this late April!

New York City has the second largest economy in the world after Tokyo, and its IT sector is continuously growing. This last year’s report on the NY tech start-ups boost reflects the never-ending capacity of the city of reinventing itself. The start-up sector is booming, and so are the tech events. And Quandora is a – be it small 😉 – part of all that.

There are two major events that we’re attending this month, so here’s some info about where you can meet us face to face late April.

NY Tech day will be held on the 25th of April, at the special event venue in Midtown Manhattan , Piers92/94. Over 450 startups will be exhibiting. It’s the second year this event is organized and it already grew popular in this short amount of time. First edition was a success – we couldn’t have missed the second :-). Bonus, the organizers created, I quote, “the coolest tool of any trade show or conference around” – an exhibitor directory. And it is indeed quite cool – just look at Quandora’s page :-). Feel free to use the request a meeting form, we’ll be happy to offer you a coffee, a friendly chat, and as many (or few 🙂 ) details about our Question & Answer solution for teams and communities as you want.

More than 10000 visitors are expected among which many angel investors and VCs, but also journalists from prestigious publications (think Forbes, Cnet, TechCrunch, GigaOm, etc). It’s free admission for attendees, so we hope we’ll see you there!

The second event we couldn’t miss is TechCrunch Disrupt. And even though we’re positive that it doesn’t need much introduction, we’ll add that under the umbrella of one event, there’s actually several of them, each with its own spirit and personality. As for us, you can find us on the Startup Alley, dedicated to early stage companies. We’ll be there – along with 100 other companies 🙂 – on Tuesday, please stop by and say hi!

Prestigious speakers will be joining the event, including John Donahoe (eBay), Marissa Mayer (Yahoo,), Neal Mohan (Google), Kevin Weil (Twitter) and many more.

Mark the dates in your calendar and join us there. It will be one tech of a month!
